چکیده

This study discusses the design and manufacture of microstrip antennas that aim to widen bandwidth in application Wi-Fi form a hexagonal patch composed 2x4 element array. Microstrip have weakness, namely narrow bandwidth, therefore modification is needed using DGS (Defected Ground Structure) method dumbbell circle head. The allocation working frequency often used community 2.4 GHz accordance with IEEE 802.11 protocol standard. result effect performance an 2x4-element array antenna DGS. placed on ground plane uses PCB epoxy fiberglass substrate material which has dielectric constant 4.58. this research external device, can increase data transfer capacity work GHz. test parameters, return loss value -22.7 dB VSWR 1.15. 1. results testing defected structure 34 MHz. radiation pattern directional. power level implementation arranged dBm by 7 dBm.
